Join Close the Glass Loop for a high-level day of discussions, updates, and strategic insights dedicated to advancing a circular economy for glass packaging. As we work towards a common position on the Circular Economy Act, this workshop serves as a vital touchpoint for the industry to deepen cooperation between national platforms and European partners on key sustainability projects.
Connect with policymakers, industry leaders, and the experts driving glass collection and recycling initiatives across the continent. Our agenda is designed to move the needle on European glass circularity through three distinct sessions:
Session 1: Policy Debate – An exploration of the scope of the Industrial Accelerator Act and the Circular Economy Act, featuring perspectives from the European Commission, MEPs, EUROPEN, FoodDrinkEurope, FEVE, and FERVER.
Session 2: Group Discussion – An interactive session focused on defining a common industry position on the Circular Economy Act, building directly on the outcomes of recent policy workshops.
Session 3: Close the Glass Loop Projects – A series of short presentations from national platforms followed by an interactive group discussion on the future of our key joint projects.
